Welcome to my childminding service in Acton, Wrexham!  

My name is Jayne, and I am passionate about providing a safe, caring, and fun environment where children can thrive, learn, and grow. With 25 years of experience as a registered childminder in Wrexham, I also have expertise in working with children who have additional learning needs and offer early years education.  

I live in a family-oriented home in Acton, Wrexham with my husband, David, and our three children, Morgan, Olivia, and Ayden. We also share our home with a friendly Golden Doodle named Bailey.  

Bailey is very much a part of our family and has the run of the house, although we ensure that he can be separated from the children when needed. We keep him up to date with vaccinations and treatments, and all interactions between him and the children are closely supervised.  

Our home is ideally situated close to Wrexham City Centre, allowing us to serve families across the Wrexham area, including Borras, Wrexham Industrial Estate, Smithy Lane, Gresford, and Pandy.

**Our Mission & Aims of Our Service:**  

To offer a home-from-home environment that is fully registered and insured as a childminder in Wrexham. Our service aims to create a place where children feel safe, valued, and happy. We support children’s emotional, physical, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities and experiences, which includes a focus on early years education.  

We strive to work in partnership with parents and guardians, ensuring their values and aspirations for their children are respected and supported. We are dedicated to promoting positive behavior, inclusion, and respect for diversity.  

**Details about the children for whom care is provided:**  

The maximum number of children under the age of 12 in my care at one time can be ten.  

In line with the recommended adult-to-child ratios:  

* Under 18 months: Maximum 2 children  

* Under 2 years: Maximum 3 children  

* Under 5 years: Maximum 4 children  

* Under 8 years: Maximum 6 children  

* Under 12 years: Maximum 10 children  

**What You Can Expect:**  

A warm and welcoming environment tailored to meet children’s individual needs. While the main language of instruction is English, I will also incorporate some Welsh into the children's learning through songs and books.  

We provide a balance of structured activities, free play, and rest to suit the daily rhythm of each child. Activities will include arts and crafts, Lego, building blocks, jigsaws, playdough, sand and water play, cooking activities, singing, stories, dressing up, play kitchen, and so much more.  

There are ample opportunities for outdoor exploration and play, both in my secure garden and through local outings. Outdoor activities will include a mud kitchen, ride-on toys, balls and hoops, garden games, sand and water activities, and trips to parks and playgrounds.  

I drive and have age-appropriate car seats and relevant insurance, which enables us to enjoy lots of fun day trips. Healthy meals and snacks are provided throughout the day, catering to various dietary requirements.  

I maintain clear communication with parents, providing regular updates about your child’s day and progress verbally and through daily diaries. I keep developmental records for each child by conducting regular observations.

**Operating Hours:**  

My childminding service operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. On special request, I may be able to provide care outside of these hours for an additional charge, offering flexible care to meet the needs of working families.  

**Terms and Conditions**  

All terms and conditions will be stated in a contract between the childminder and parents.
